A custom look for this legendary alloy wheelset that never disapoints. Centrelock disc brake version.
The Ksyrium SL Heritage was inspired from near century of expertise in manufacturing aluminum. Mavic engineers developed the first aluminium wheels for the 1934 Tour de France. They were disguised as wood to allow the winner of that edition, Antonin Magne a competitive edge. We pay homage to our heritage with these premium aluminum wheels that combine the timeless aesthetic of raw metal with the latest technologies.
The result of this care is that the Ksyrium SL Heritage wheels strike a gorgeous sihollette as well as deliverying on perfomrance.
The wheelset weighs only 1480g in the rim brake version and 1575g in the disc brake version.
The rim is made from 80% recycled 6351-T56 aluminum, and its profile has been designed to provide high lateral stiffness while ensuring vertical compliance for greater comfort. It also benefits from ISM4D machining to vary the material thickness according to the stresses endured.

- Shimano 8/9/10/11/12 speed road and gravel cassettes cog range 11-46 teeth except Dura Ace 12 speed with 10 tooth small cog.
- **8/9/10 speed Shimano cassettes and 11-speed mountain bike cassettes are compatible with HG freehubs, but require a 1.85 mm spacer. (Available from us. Please let us know in the order notes and we will add it to the order.)
