Bicycle Assembly Guides
Congratulations on the purchase of your new bicycle.
For your safety Woolys Wheels highly recommends utilising the services of your local bicycle store to finish the final assembly of your bicycle. If you choose to complete the assembly unassisted, we have video resources and assembly manuals at the links below to help you complete the process.
The videos below pertain to Specialized branded bicycles, but are applicable to the other brands of bicycles we sell including Giant, Cèrvelo, Focus, Neo and BYK. Please note, not all steps may be necessary and shipping boxes will have a different configuration that those illustrated.
The tasks for self assembly are as follows:
- Unboxing
- Insertion of front wheel
- Handlebar assembly and adjustment
- Saddle/seatpost insertion and adjustment
- Pedal attachment
- Pre-ride safety check including tyres are inflated to manufacturer's recommended pressure range as noted on the tyre sidewall.
Tools required may include:
- 4mm, 5mm, 6mm allen key
- Torque wrench 1-10nm
- Pedal wrench
- Bicycle pump with gauge
- Scissors or cable tie cutters
