Chorus cassettes features revised tooth profile for better shifting perfomance and noise reduction and new hardening for increased life. The teeth have been designed to optimize the speed and smoothness of shifting. The tooth shape reduces stress on the chain which ascends more easily onto the higher diameter sprockets. The larger sprocket are clustered into two groups of three by milling from a single piece.
The 11-29T and 11-32T are fully compatible with Super Record and Record 2x12-speed groupsets. The 11-34T cassette is compatible only with Chorus 2x12 speed mechanical groupsets as they use a longer cage derailleur capable of using the larger 34T sprocket.
